Out and About

Saturday 20 December. Nationwide rain curtailed many activities. Our Belly-Dance entertainers were sent inside while the Horse Drawn Tram was out and about. The kids told the Clowns they were supposed to be funny - we thought they looked funny. All supporting the Foxton Main Street Annual Party.

More and more action at the Beach and in the River. Jet Ski Racing on the shortest day af the year (21 June 2008). Up the River and back - Slalom - Over the Bar - and around again. These photos taken at the Manawatu Marine Boating Club - Launching ramp. As you can see, the Fabulous Foxton Weather allows Racing, Boating & Fishing all in the same bit of water at the same time.

Friday 14th November. The Foxton River Loop provided the ideal setting for the bi-lingual students from Linton Camp School to gain some experience of Waka travel, from Foxton Town to the Manawatu Marine Boating Club at the Mouth of the Manawatu River. They were accompanied by the Manawatu Volunteer Coastguard in their 2 hour trip..
