Founded in 1955 to support children and parent in one-parent families
To give our children the same opportunities as other children
Provides a service that can be changed to adapt to the needs of familiesbr
There are 18 member societies in New Zealand
The National Office is in Wellington
Our Services :
Home Based Support : visiting in the home and helping to set and achieve goals
Advocacy, advice, referrals to the right agencies and information
Support when dealing with government agencies
Resources : Clothing, home equipment, food, financial support for schooling etc.
Education support and courses on parenting

Do you live in our area?
If you answered yes to both questions you are eligible to become a Birthright Family Member
